Comfortable family-friendly place, it has perfect and best possible location just next door to market and beatiful town, and rethymno which is a beautiful place to visit. The breakfast was savoury and generous, we really enjoyed variety of meals.

Babis Hotel in Skaleta is a great place to bask in the sun with its beautiful beachfront location. The peaceful sound of the waves and the sandy shore right at your doorstep create a serene and tranquil atmosphere.
Location wasn't ideal, but with a car it's fine.

We were just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach - perfect for all our Instagram-worthy beach pics! The hotel had everything we needed, from travel info to bikes for exploring. And can we talk about the outdoor pool? It was the ultimate spot for sunbathing and chillin' with our crew. Oh, and we even tried our hands at fishing - totally added to the adventure vibes!
If there's one thing we would've loved, it's a livelier atmosphere for us young party-goers. Even though the hotel was amazing, we were hoping for more activities or a cool hangout spot where we could meet other fun-loving travelers like us.

Whenever I stay in Skaleta, I always choose this place. The staff helped me with local taxi info in my first stay. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, free parking, luggage storage, bar, and more. I'm coming back for a city trip.

The rooms at Babis Hotel were cozy and comfortable, with nice views of the mountains and garden. I loved the seating area where I could unwind after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the TV and radio in the room. But hey, some people might still enjoy them!

I had always wanted to visit Geropotamos beach and chose Babis Hotel for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious veranda with a garden view. It was the perfect place to enjoy my continental breakfast in the morning and relax with a drink in the afternoon and evening. Additionally, the hotel bar served drinks and coffee throughout the day, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.
Price is overrated and lacks laundry service.
